I think we all have an idea that vitamin C is good for us but when asked why, most of us are are a little vague. It keeps us healthy. It helps with colds?? While these are true, lets take a look at some of the things that vitamin C has been proven to help with:

  • Reduce the risk of chronic disease
  • Reduces high blood pressure
  • Reduces risk factor for heart disease
  • Boosts Immunity
  • Helps prevent/reduce gout
  • Helps prevent iron deficiency

If you can check off one or more of the items above (and who doesn’t want to reduce heart disease risk factor or the risk of chronic disease, so yeah, like everyone) supplementing with vitamin C is a simple way to boost you intake of vitamin C especially if you are not getting enough from your diet alone.

OK, I’m in and I hate broccoli and brussel sprouts, where do I get my vitamin C supplement. You can go to Whole Foods or your local vitamin store but the vast array of vitamin C supplements can be dizzying. Add to this that many supplements are derived synthetically and you may not may not get what you think you are paying for. So which supplement should I be taking, two words (well one word and one letter) liposomal C.

What the heck is liposomal vitamin C. Liposomal vitamin C is vitamin C wrapped in ‘liposomes’. Liposomes are nano sized bubbles that mimic the body’s cell membranes and protect the vitamin C as it moves through the body so that it can get to the cells that need it. This makes the vitamin C more available and also accelerates absorption.

Since vitamin C is so vital to our health and since our liposomal vitamin C is your best option for getting this vital nutrient in to your body, we are making it our supplement of the month for May. Don’t wait, call today!
